You already versioned a Deskly API collection as YAML in your deskly-api fork. In this module you'll turn that collection into an OpenAPI specification in Local View, keep the spec and collection linked, and push the spec to GitHub on a feature branch.
Before you start
Complete Native Git in Postman first. This module reuses the same public deskly-api fork, [Your name] - Native Git workspace, connected local folder, and Deskly API collection on feature/deskly-collection.
When you reopen Postman, Local View may show main in the bottom left — checkout feature/deskly-collection before the collection appears in the sidebar (Part 2 Step 1 walks you through this).
You'll also need:
- Postman desktop app — Native Git and Local View are desktop-only.
- Git and your existing
deskly-apiclone connected to the workspace. - A public GitHub fork with your collection already pushed on a
feature/branch.
