Search for a capability via MCP

Orbit exposes this as a search call. Here, your agent makes it directly and reads the result itself.

  1. Ask your agent:

Using the Orbit MCP tools, search for an endpoint that can create a calendar event. Show me the name, provider, and evaluateGuide for each result.

  2. Confirm the agent calls the Orbit search tool (not a generic web search) and shows you real endpoints with an evaluateGuide field, each broken into a summary, a Use for: list, and a Not supported: list.

Troubleshooting: If your agent answers from general knowledge instead of calling the tool, ask it explicitly to "use the orbit MCP tool"; some agents need the nudge the first time.

Get a task brief via MCP

  1. Ask your agent:

From those search results, call Orbit's integrate tool with the endpoint that best fits creating a calendar event, and the task "Create a calendar event when a user books a time slot." Show me the resulting task brief.

  2. Confirm the agent calls the Orbit integrate tool with the id of one of the endpoints from the previous search, unedited, and shows you a task brief covering FIT, AUTH, BASE URL, and ordered STEPS.
