Postman Product Terms
Effective Date: July 18th, 2025
These Postman Product Terms (the "Product Terms") present terms and conditions specific to certain Postman products and features. The terms in these Product Terms supersede the terms of the Postman Terms of Service or other definitive master services agreement entered into by the parties (as applicable, the "Agreement") with respect to such Postman products and/or features and in case of conflict. Capitalized terms not defined in these Product Terms shall have the meanings given to them in the Agreement.
Additional information about Postman's products and features can be found in the Documentation, which should always be referenced for the most up-to-date information. For the avoidance of doubt, all Postman products and features set forth in these Product Terms are also subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.
Contents:
1. Postman AI Terms
1.1 Artificial Intelligence. Postman may offer optional artificial intelligence (“AI”) products and features (including, but not limited to, AI Agent Builder and Agent Mode) to Customer as part of the Services. Any and all use of Postman AI products and features are governed by the Postman AI Terms, available at www.postman.com/legal/postman-ai-terms/, and which are hereby incorporated by reference into these Product Terms. For the avoidance of doubt, the terms and conditions of this Section 1 (Postman AI Terms) and the AI Terms are applicable solely to the extent Customer uses and/or purchases any Postman AI product or feature.
1.2 FOR ALL MONTHLY SELF-SERVE AND ALL ANNUAL SELF-SERVE PLANS (EXCLUDING Self-Serve Annual Enterprise Plans): ACCEPTANCE OF THE POSTMAN TERMS OF SERVICE (WHICH INCLUDES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE PRODUCT TERMS) SHALL ALSO CONSTITUTE CUSTOMER'S KNOWING AND VOLUNTARY ACCEPTANCE OF THE POSTMAN AI Terms.
1.3 For All Self-Serve Annual Enterprise Plans and Sales-Assisted Annual Enterprise Plans ONLY: Postman's AI products and features can only be enabled and/or turned off by Customer's Account Admin User(s) as set forth in this Section 1.3. Customer is under no obligation to enable or use these AI products and features; Postman shall not enable such AI products or features as part of the Services for Customer without Customer's Account Admin User(s)'s permission (if a Customer Account Admin User accepts Postman's AI Terms in the Postman platform, that will be deemed permission under this Section 1.3). For the avoidance of doubt, Customer acknowledges that Customer's Account Admin User(s) has the authority to bind Customer to the Agreement, including the AI Terms
1.4 AI Tool Builder and MCP Server Deployment. Postman's AI Tool Builder, one of a suite of tools that empowers customers to evaluate, build, test, and deploy AI agents, can facilitate the creation of code for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. Although Customers can create and send MCP requests using the Services platform, the actual deployment and hosting of the servers generated by the AI Tool Builder falls outside of Postman's API cloud platform Service. In addition to restrictions set forth in Postman's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, Customers are expressly prohibited from using Postman's AI Tool Builder for any unlawful purposes, including but not limited to, coin mining, web scraping, or hosting of illegal content. Any use of the AI Tool Builder for such activities will be considered a breach of these Product Terms and may result in suspension or termination of access.
2. Postman Flows
2.1 Applicability. The terms and conditions of this Section 2 apply solely to the extent Customer purchases and/or uses Postman Flows.
2.2 Use. The Postman Flows add-on product enables rapid development of API-based applications. Deployment of such API-based applications in the Postman cloud is possible for Customers that have purchased and/or enabled Postman Flows, but is intended to enable dynamic testing, modification, and developer collaboration only.
2.3 Paid and Free Usage. Postman may offer or provide Customer some complimentary use of Postman Flows from time to time as a Trial Offering (as defined below in Section 7), however, unless otherwise expressly set forth in the Documentation, some product functionality may be available exclusively through the paid, add-on version of Postman Flows. Flow Credits shall be deducted from Team allocations and renewed as outlined in the Documentation.
3. Postman Insights and Insights Agent
3.1 Applicability. The terms and conditions of this Section 3 apply solely to the extent Customer purchases and/or uses Postman Insights.
3.2 Software Usage Terms. For the avoidance of doubt, the Insights Agent is Software, so the terms applicable to Software set forth in the Agreement (including but not limited to Section 5.2 (Software Usage) of the Postman Terms of Service) expressly apply.
3.3 Security Requirements. Customer agrees to abide by and comply with all applicable security requirements applicable to its use of Postman Insights which are set forth by Postman in the Agreement (including any addenda) and/or in any Order. If Customer is a user of Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Encryption, it is aware that, unless otherwise expressly set forth in Postman's Documentation, Insights is not in-scope for BYOK Encryption.
3.4 Customer Warranties
- Insights is a feature for API and related network traffic observability. By using this feature, Customer represents and warrants that it, and Customer's designated Workspace Admin(s) within its Postman Workspace(s), are authorized to configure and use Insights on the APIs and systems that Customer configures for such use. If, as applicable, Customer or its Workspace Admin(s) are not so authorized, do not use the Insights feature.
- To the extent Customer's configuration and use of Insights results in instructing Postman to process any Personal Data (as defined in Postman's Privacy Policy), Customer further represents and warrants that sufficient consent exists from the data subjects whose Personal Data Customer is instructing Postman to process in connection with Customer's use of the Insights feature. If Customer does not want Postman to process any such Personal Data or Customer has not obtained sufficient and lawful consents, do not use the Insights feature with such data.
3.5 Repro Mode. Customers, via its Workspace Admin(s) in the particular Workspace where Insights is enabled, may enable Insight's Repro Mode as well as configure Insights to redact specific fields. Repro Mode is not enabled by default and may also be turned off by a Workspace Admin. Repro Mode transmits visible, unredacted payloads and values from API requests and responses to/from endpoints Customer has configured Insights to observe. URL paths and query parameters are transmitted, stored, and can be viewed.
- By enabling Repro Mode, Customer authorizes and instructs Postman to process all data in the query parameters and payloads associated with APIs and related network traffic Customer is observing through the use of Insights. This data would include any Personal Data that Customer has not redacted from such query parameters, requests, and responses. Customer represents and warrants that it has obtained sufficient consent from any data subjects whose Personal Data may be processed in connection with Customer's use of Repro Mode. If Customer does not want Postman to process such Personal Data or Customer has not obtained sufficient and lawful consents, do not activate Repro Mode.
4. Postman-Supported Integrations to Third-Party Services and Gateways
4.1 Applicability. The terms and conditions of this Section 4 apply solely to the extent Customer purchases and/or uses any Postman-Supported Integrations.
4.2 Third-Party Service Integrations. The Services may offer optional integration(s) with third-party services, such as Slack and GitHub, including API gateways such as Apigee X, Amazon API Gateway, and Azure API Management ("Third-Party Services"). Use of these Postman-Supported Integrations is optional, as further described in the Documentation. Postman offers no warranty or assurances with regard to Third-Party Services, the Third-Party Content related to such services, or the Postman-Supported Integrations to such Third-Party Services included within the Postman Services, and may suspend or terminate such Postman-Supported Integrations and/or support for any Third-Party Service at any time (with or without notice). Postman encourages Customer to first test any deployment of or use of any Postman-Supported Integration from Postman to such Third-Party Services.
5. Advanced Security Administration
5.1 Applicability. The terms and conditions of this Section 5 apply solely to the extent Customer purchases and/or uses Postman's Advanced Security Administration.
5.2 Requirements; Limitations and Disclaimers. The Advanced Security Administration (ASA) add-on is only available for Enterprise Plans and if purchased, must be purchased for all Users under an Organization Account. Other requirements and limitations may apply to ASA and its features, including, but not limited to, with respect to domain capture and Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Encryption, as set forth in the Documentation. Customer should review the Documentation (as may be updated from time to time) to confirm current feature availability. If Customer configures and uses BYOK Encryption, (i) it acknowledges that BYOK may not encrypt all elements of Customer Content (Customer should refer to Postman's Documentation for the current supported elements), and (ii) Postman hereby disclaims all damages and liability arising out of, and all responsibility for, any loss of Customer Content encrypted by BYOK in the event Customer loses its BYOK encryption key.
6. Regional Hosting
6.1 Primary Data Center Location. A US-based data center (currently operated by AWS and located in Virginia) is the primary data center used for the Postman Services and the data center where the public Postman API Network is hosted (the "US Data Center").
6.2 Hosting Location Selection. Subject to election by Customer and mutual written agreement of Postman and Customer, Postman may host a Customer's Organization Account (including all User Accounts) in a Postman regional data center instead of its US Data Center. Customer acknowledges that in the course of providing support and operational activities related to the Postman Services, personnel of Postman and its Affiliates, as well as Postman's Sub-Processors and service providers, located in and outside of the selected hosting region (including but not limited to the United States and India) may require access to Customer Content and may access Services remotely. Customers that opt for a non-US Data Center acknowledge that all account credentials for the Organization Account and User Account(s) will remain hosted in the US Data Center.
- EU Regional Data Center. Postman's European Union (EU) Regional Data Center (currently operated by AWS and located in Germany) is an option for some Customers who have purchased an Enterprise Plan. Features and functionality in the EU Regional Data Center may vary from those available in the US Data Center; Customer should review the current Documentation for the EU Regional Data Residency option (as may be updated from time to time) to confirm current feature and product availability. For the avoidance of doubt, Customers that opt for the EU Data Center acknowledge that all account credentials for the Organization Account and User Account(s) will remain hosted in the US Data Center.
7. Trial Offerings and Other Complimentary Use
7.1 Applicability. Postman may, from time to time, offer access to certain GA (as defined in Section 8 below) products or features, as supplementary to Customer's Subscription Plan, on a free, fully discounted, and/or complimentary trial basis for the purposes of evaluation, testing, and/or as a general customer service offering, including products or features that are offered on a temporarily 'unlimited' basis or for a free or 'unlimited' temporary 'introductory period' (these offerings are each and collectively referred to as "Trial Offerings"). Participation in and/or use of Trial Offerings are subject to the terms in this Section 7 and any additional terms specified by Postman provided concurrently with access to such Trial Offerings, as well as any applicable terms set forth in the Services platform itself, the Documentation, the Agreement, and/or any applicable Order.
7.2 Modifications and Termination. Postman reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to modify or discontinue the Trial Offering(s), in whole or in part, and to suspend or terminate Customer's access to and use of the Trial Offerings, together with any associated applicable terms, without incurring any liability to Customer. With respect to any such modifications, Customer must accept those modifications to continue accessing or using the Trial Offerings and, to the extent applicable, Customer's use of the Trial Offerings following such modifications shall constitute Customer's acceptance of any such changes.
7.3 Fees. Customer's continued use of any Trial Offering following Postman's notification to Customer that Postman will begin to charge Fees for such Trial Offering on or after the date Postman indicates the Trial Offering(s) will no longer be free of charge or otherwise provided on an unlimited basis, shall constitute Customer's acceptance of such Fees. Such Fees shall be due and payable in accordance with the applicable terms of the Agreement.
7.4 Disclaimers. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING ELSE IN THESE PRODUCT TERMS OR THE AGREEMENT, AND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIAL OFFERINGS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” AND POSTMAN PROVIDES NO WARRANTY, INDEMNITY, SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT, OR SUPPORT RELATED TO THE TRIAL OFFERINGS, AND POSTMAN’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF CUSTOMER'S ACCESS TO OR USE OF TRIAL OFFERINGS SHALL NOT EXCEED US$100.
8. Beta and Early Access Program Terms
8.1 Applicability and Participation. Postman may, from time to time, offer access to or use of software, services, add-on products, functionalities, or features on an alpha, beta, preview, early access, pre-Generally Available release, or similar basis, including any 'early Enterprise' access, prior to such software, services, products, or features being available generally to Postman customers (each and collectively, a "Beta Preview"). "Generally Available" or "GA" means that a product, feature, or functionality (i) has been formally released by Postman for general use (including if made generally available to specific Subscription Plan types or other subset of Postman customers), (ii) is available to Postman customers under Postman's standard terms (as applicable, the Postman Terms of Service or a separate master services agreement entered into by and between the parties), and (iii) is supported and maintained as part of Postman's standard Services offerings. Participation in a Beta Preview is subject to the terms in this Section 8 and any additional terms specified by Postman provided concurrently with access to such Beta Preview, including as set forth in Services platform itself, as well as the applicable terms set forth in the Documentation, the Agreement, and/or any applicable Order.
8.2 Modifications. At any time prior to a Beta Preview being made Generally Available, with or without notice, Postman may (a) deliver automatic updates, patches, corrections, or enhancements to any Beta Preview; (b) add, modify, disable, or remove any feature, functionality, or component of a Beta Preview; (c) suspend, discontinue, or withdraw a Beta Preview, and/or (d) terminate or modify Customer's access to and/or use of (including applicable terms) the Beta Preview, and with no liability to Customer. With respect to any such Beta Preview modifications, Customer must accept those modifications to continue accessing or using the Beta Preview and, to the extent applicable, Customer's use of the Beta Preview following such modifications shall constitute Customer's acceptance of all such changes.
8.3 Access and Termination. Postman reserves the right to discontinue Customer's access to or use of any Beta Preview at any time, with or without notice. Customer acknowledges that Beta Previews (i) may be inoperable, incomplete, or include errors and/or bugs, and (ii) may be a product, feature, functionality, software, or service that Postman may never release or make Generally Available. Providing access for Customer to a Beta Preview in no way obligates Postman to make that Beta Preview available to Customer or any other customer.
8.4 Fees. Customer's continued use of any Beta Preview following (i) Postman's announcement that such Beta Preview feature or product is now GA and (ii) Postman's notification to Customer that Fees that will apply to the GA version of such Beta Preview, shall constitute Customer's acceptance of such Fees as applicable to Customer's then-current Subscription Term. Such Fees shall be due and payable in accordance with the applicable terms of the Agreement.
8.5 Confidentiality and Use Obligations for Beta Previews. Customer agrees that Beta Preview features and performance information about such features are Postman's Confidential Information, regardless of whether it is marked or identified as such, to be held confidential in accordance with its confidentiality obligations under the Agreement. Customer agrees to use such Confidential Information only for the express purpose of testing and evaluating the Beta Preview and not for any other purpose. Customer's Feedback regarding such Beta Preview features should only be shared with Postman unless otherwise authorized by Postman.
8.6 Publicity for Beta Previews. Without Postman's prior written consent, Customer shall not issue any public statement, review, or other communication regarding any Beta Preview or otherwise use Postman's name, logo, or trademarks in connection therewith. Postman may identify Customer as a Beta Preview participant and display Customer's name and logo in its marketing materials, subject to Customer's trademark-usage guidelines or as otherwise agreed by the parties in writing.
8.7 Feedback for Beta Previews. Customer hereby assigns to Postman all right, title, and interest in and to Feedback it provides regarding Beta Previews. To the extent any Feedback is not assignable, Customer grants Postman a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and otherwise exploit such Feedback without restriction or obligation to Customer.
8.8 No Support or Service Levels. Beta Previews are provided without any support, maintenance, updates, or service-level commitments, and Postman has no obligation to remedy errors or provide assistance in connection with their use.
8.9 Disclaimers. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING ELSE IN THESE PRODUCT TERMS OR THE AGREEMENT, AND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BETA PREVIEWS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND POSTMAN PROVIDES NO WARRANTY, INDEMNITY, SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT, OR SUPPORT RELATED TO BETA PREVIEWS, AND POSTMAN'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF CUSTOMER'S ACCESS TO OR USE OF BETA PREVIEWS SHALL NOT EXCEED US$100. EXCEPT WITH REGARD TO POSTMAN'S OBLIGATIONS REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF ANY PERSONAL DATA IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW (AS SET FORTH IN THE POSTMAN PRIVACY POLICY), POSTMAN'S SECURITY OBLIGATIONS DO NOT ENCOMPASS BETA PREVIEWS, AND BY USING A BETA PREVIEW, CUSTOMER DOES SO ENTIRELY AT ITS OWN RISK.
9. Postman Sandbox Instances
9.1 Applicability. The terms and conditions of this Section 9 apply solely to the extent Customer purchases and/or uses a Postman Sandbox instance. A "Sandbox" refers to a non-production instance of the Postman Services provided solely for the purposes of evaluation, testing, development, demonstration, or other non-commercial internal use by Customer. A Sandbox instance may not include all features or functionality available in the production version of the Services.
9.2 Restrictions, Limitations, and Requirements. In addition to any restrictions, limitations, or requirements set forth in Postman's Documentation, unless otherwise expressly set forth in the applicable Order(s), the following terms apply to Customer's Sandbox access and usage:

- Customer agrees that use of the Sandbox is purely for the purposes of evaluation, testing, training and development, and/or demonstration purposes only.
- Customer shall not use its Sandbox environment for the purposes of using the Postman Services in an attempt to circumvent any Usage Limits under its Subscription Plan.
- Customer acknowledges that Postman recommends only test or 'dummy' data should be used in a Sandbox, and that Postman's security obligations and features applicable to Customer's standard, production Postman Services instance shall not apply to, and may not be available in, a Sandbox instance; provided that with respect to any Personal Data that is processed by Postman in connection with the provision of the Sandbox, Postman shall comply with applicable data protection laws as set forth in its Privacy Policy.
- Customer acknowledges that Customer may not have the ability to transfer any Customer Content or other data from a Sandbox to its production Postman instance.

EXCEPT WITH REGARD TO POSTMAN'S OBLIGATIONS REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF ANY PERSONAL DATA IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW (AS SET FORTH IN THE POSTMAN PRIVACY POLICY), POSTMAN'S SECURITY OBLIGATIONS DO NOT ENCOMPASS SANDBOXES, AND BY USING A SANDBOX, CUSTOMER DOES SO AT ITS OWN RISK.
9.4 Beta Previews and Trial Offerings. For the avoidance of doubt, Section 7 (Trial Offerings and other Complimentary Use) and Section 8 (Beta and Early Access Program Terms) of these Product Terms shall, as applicable, continue to apply to any Beta Preview or Trial Offering provided to Customer within its Sandbox instance (provided however that all disclaimers set forth in this Section 9 shall continue to apply).
