Postman Website Terms of Use

Effective Date: July 16, 2025

These Postman Website Terms of Use ("Site Terms") apply to your access to and use of Postman, Inc.'s (on behalf of it and its affiliates, "Postman", "us", or "we") www.postman.com/ website and any web pages, social media pages, articles, and other documents or materials that expressly reference these Site Terms (collectively, the "Website(s)"). Websites expressly governed by these Site Terms include www.blog.postman.com (Blog Articles) and security.postman.com (Security and Trust Portal). Websites also include documentation, comments, materials, images, graphics, photographs, video, software code and other forms of content Postman makes available on or through the Websites (referred to as "Postman Materials").

In addition, Websites includes all other web pages available under the domain www.postman.com except for:

• the Postman cloud services, the Postman Support center (after logging in), or any downloadable Postman software (each of which are governed by a separate agreement, which may be an online order and the Postman Terms of Service or a negotiated agreement between Postman and your organization);
• pages that make up the public Postman API Network on which companies display their own API information (accessed at https://www.postman.com/explore/ and use of which is governed by the Postman Terms of Service);
• the Postman Community at https://community.postman.com/ (use of which is governed by the Postman Terms of Service and Community Code of Conduct); and
• the Postman merchandise "store" at https://store.postman.com (its terms set forth at https://store.postman.com/pages/terms/).

By checking a box or otherwise taking an action to consent to these Site Terms, or by using the Websites, you agree to these Site Terms. If you do not agree to these Site Terms, do not use Postman's Websites.

Postman may provide additional terms more specific to a web page, area of the Website, a specific activity accessed through the Websites, or related to marketing and sales activities for the Postman products ("Supplemental Terms"). Those Supplemental Terms become part of your agreement with Postman if you use those Website areas and/or participate in those activities. If there is a conflict between these Site Terms and the Supplemental Terms, the Supplemental Terms will control for that conflict. The following are expressly considered Supplemental Terms:

• Postman Training Workshop (also subject to Terms for Use of Postman Training Materials)
• Postman Academy (also subject to the Postman Academy Privacy Policy)
• Postman Brand Guidelines & Logo Approval Process
• Postman Content Policies
• All other Postman policies at www.postman.com/legal, except those specific to the Postman Services (such as Postman's Terms of Service)

Postman may modify these Site Terms to reflect changes in our business, applicable law, or for other reasons deemed necessary by Postman. Please review these terms when you access our Websites to see the latest updates. Except where prohibited by law, such changes will apply on the date posted. If you do not agree to a change to these terms, please discontinue use of the Websites.

Postman may monitor compliance with this AUP and investigate any potential violations. Postman may report any activity that we suspect violates any law or regulation to law enforcement officials, regulators or other appropriate third parties, and cooperate with them to investigate and prosecute illegal conduct. Postman's reporting may include disclosing information related to the violation of this AUP.

The information available on the Websites is available for your informational, non-commercial purposes, unless Postman presents the content with the express statement that it may be copied and edited by you for your own purposes, such as code snippets in an article or templates provided at https://www.postman.com/templates/ ("Templates and Snippets"). For Postman Materials other than Templates and Snippets, you may only download, store, and display such Materials and Postman materials for your private informational, non-commercial purposes, and may not copy or post such Materials on a shared computer network or otherwise publish, broadcast, or distribute such Materials, except as allowed by U.S. fair use principles. (For example, it is ok to share a blog post with friends and colleagues who may be interested in learning about Postman services, but it is not ok to copy any substantial amount of Postman Materials to present on your own website or copy and modify the Postman Materials for your own commercial purposes.)

You agree that you will not use the Websites or any Postman Materials for any illegal purpose or in a manner that violates any law or rights of any other person.

You agree to adhere to the Postman Acceptable Use Policy with regard to any interactive area of the Websites. Postman may suspend your access to or your rights to use the Websites for violation of the Acceptable Use Policy, these Site Terms, or any applicable Supplemental Terms.

Content you may upload to the Websites is referred to in these terms as "Your Content". You retain ownership of and responsibility for Your Content, such as the comments you submit to the Postman Community. We need the legal right to do things like host Your Content, publish it, and share it. You grant us and our legal successors the perpetual non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, transferrable right to (i) reproduce, store, archive, parse, display, represent, and perform Your Content; (ii) make available to the public Your Content; and (iii) make incidental copies of Your Content, as necessary to operate the Websites. This license does not grant Postman the right to sell Your Content. Postman shall not otherwise distribute or use Your Content outside of our provision of the Websites (including our publicly available web pages), but we may release Your Content when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. You understand that you will not receive any payment for any of the rights granted.

Postman reserves the right to make changes to and monitor the use of the Websites and the Materials provided on or through the Websites at any time without notice. See the Content Policies for more information about how Postman manages visitor contributed content and handles disputes regarding such materials.

Postman encourages public sharing of only non-confidential information. Notwithstanding any marking or notice you place on Your Content, it shall not be considered confidential information and shall be received and treated by Postman on a non-confidential and unrestricted basis, and Postman shall not take, and shall not be required to take, any steps to safeguard the confidentiality of any information that you share, other than as specified in Postman's Privacy Policy.

We take the intellectual property rights of others seriously and require that our Websites users and customers, and their users, do the same. The Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) ("DMCA") established a process for addressing claims of copyright infringement that we have implemented for the Postman Websites. Postman will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement with regard to content on the Websites that comply with applicable law in accordance with our policies. You agree Postman's Privacy Policy applies to your access and use of our Websites. Postman's Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you.

You acknowledge and agree that, as between you and Postman, Postman and its licensors have and retain ownership and all technology and intellectual property rights of any kind in the Websites and the Postman Materials, including but not limited to (a) patents, ideas, inventions, interfaces, and designs, and any other industrial property rights; (b) trade marks, trade name rights, goodwill and similar rights; (c) copyrights and other rights associated with works of authorship, programmatic tools, user interfaces, algorithms, logic, scripts, work flows, software, methodologies, and databases; (e) know-how, trade secrets; and (f) any tools, downloadable programs, features, and functionalities of the Websites that leverage artificial intelligence technologies and any resulting usage data, whether registered or not, and wherever in the world they may exist. Postman reserves all rights in and to the Websites and Postman Materials that it does not expressly grant you in these Terms.

Rights are Non-Exclusive. Your rights under these Site Terms are non-exclusive. There is no prohibition or restriction on Postman to provide the same or similar rights as set out in these Site Terms to any other person.

Feedback. Your feedback as a Website visitor will help Postman continue to improve its Websites. If you choose to give us any ideas, know-how, algorithms, code contributions, suggestions, enhancement requests, recommendations, or any other feedback for our Websites (collectively, "Feedback"), you acknowledge and agree that Postman will have a royalty-free, fully paid-up, worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, irrevocable, and perpetual license to reproduce, copy, implement, use, distribute, modify, commercially exploit, rent and lend, represent, perform, make available to the public, and/or incorporate the Feedback into our Websites, products, services, and documentation. The Websites may contain links to external websites and may present content uploaded by third parties. Postman shall not be responsible for the contents of any linked website, content submitted by third parties, or any changes or updates to such websites or third party content.

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT THE WEBSITES AND CONTENT THEREON ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, FUNCTIONALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ALL OF WHICH ARE DISCLAIMED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER STATUTORY RIGHTS, BUT THE DURATION OF STATUTORILY REQUIRED WARRANTIES, IF ANY, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE SHORTEST PERIOD PERMITTED BY LAW.

POSTMAN DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT OPERATION OF THE WEBSITES OR THE MATERIALS WILL BE SECURE, ERROR FREE, VIRUS FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, THAT ANY CONTENT WILL NOT BE LOST OR CORRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO RECTIFY/REMEDY ANY ERRORS OR DEFECT.

POSTMAN ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS THAT YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY MAY SUFFER DUE TO ANY CONTENT OR MATERIALS USED OR SHARED BY YOU USING THE WEBSITES.

POSTMAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DELAYS, INTERRUPTIONS, SERVICE FAILURES, OR OTHER PROBLEMS INHERENT IN THE USE OF THE INTERNET AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, OR OTHER SYSTEMS OUTSIDE POSTMAN'S REASONABLE CONTROL.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POSTMAN AND ITS AFFILIATES, AND ITS AND THEIR REPRESENTATIVES AND LICENSORS, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OF CONTENT, LOSS OF USE, FAILURE OF SECURITY MECHANISMS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF INCOME OR PROFIT, OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY LOSS OR DAMAGES THAT MAY BE INCURRED BY YOU ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE SITE TERMS OR THE WEBSITES OR POSTMAN MATERIALS, WHETHER OR NOT POSTMAN OR ITS REPRESENTATIVES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH LOSSES ARISING. IN THE EVENT POSTMAN LIABILITY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF POSTMAN AND OUR THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS, LICENSORS, OR RESELLERS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE SITE TERMS OR USE OF THE WEBSITES IS LIMITED TO $100 USD.

You will defend Postman, its affiliates, and its and their officers, employees, directors, contractors, and representatives ("Indemnified Postman Parties") from any claim made by a third party in connection with (i) Content you upload to the Websites, and/or (ii) your culpable breach of these Site Terms (a "Claim"), and you will indemnify and hold such Indemnified Postman Parties harmless against any damages and costs finally awarded by a court of competent jurisdiction or agreed to in a settlement by you (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of such a Claim.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OR EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE DISCLAIMER, EXCLUSION, OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN LIABILITIES. SOLELY TO THE EXTENT THAT THEY ARE HELD TO BE LEGALLY INVALID, THOSE SPECIFIC DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, AND LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THESE SITE TERMS, INCLUDING THOSE SET FORTH IN EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY SECTIONS, DO NOT APPLY AND ALL OTHER TERMS SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT.

You acknowledge that Postman may disallow or terminate your access to or block your access to any part or all of the Websites at Postman’s discretion, without liability to you.

The rights granted in these Terms may not be assigned or transferred by you without the prior written approval of Postman. You are not permitted to delegate your responsibilities or obligations under these Terms without the prior written approval of Postman. Postman is entitled to assign, transfer, or delegate any right, responsibility, duty, or obligation under these Terms without notice to you.

The Websites are subject to export restrictions by the United States government and may be subject to import restrictions by certain foreign governments. You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations in your access to and use of the Websites. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any Prohibited Country and (ii) none of Your Content is controlled under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations or similar Laws in other jurisdictions. You also certify that you are not a Prohibited Person nor owned, controlled by, or acting on behalf of a Prohibited Person. You also certify that you are not a Prohibited Person nor owned, controlled by, or acting on behalf of a Prohibited Person. “Prohibited Person” is anyone on the U.S. Commerce Department's Denied Persons, Entity, or Unverified Lists, the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals and Consolidated Sanctions list, anyone sanctioned by the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (“OFSI”) of the HM Treasury or anyone sanctioned by the Council of the European Union and administered by the designated authorities within each Member State. “Prohibited Country” means any country to which the United States, EU Commission, or the government of the United Kingdom has prohibited the export, re-export, or transfer of products, technology, services or data, directly or indirectly, as may be updated from time to time. Postman may block access to the Websites from locations based on geographic indicators in a good faith effort to comply with export laws.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND POSTMAN AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE SITE TERMS AND/OR THE WEBSITES WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT YOU MAY ONLY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST POSTMAN IN YOUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

These Site Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state of Delaware and the United States, without regard to any conflict of law provisions. You and Postman agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware to resolve any dispute arising out of these Site Terms or use of the Websites.

To the extent Postman offers different terms, restrictions, or requirements for individuals or entities located in different countries, it will provide those terms as set forth below.

European Union and United Kingdom. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in a Member State of the European Union or the United Kingdom, the following terms shall apply and take precedence over any conflicting provision in these Site Terms.

1. Assignment. Postman does not need your agreement for an assignment, transfer, or delegation provided that your rights under these Site Terms aren't affected.
2. Governing Law. The protection of the mandatory provisions of the applicable law (including consumer protection law) of the Member State or country in which you have your habitual residence is not excluded.

These Site Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Postman regarding your Use of the Websites, and supersedes all prior agreements (written or oral) between you and Postman in relation to the Websites. If there is a conflict or inconsistency between these Site Terms and the rules, acceptable use policies, license agreement, services agreement, or other terms and conditions for a specific area of the Site or for specific Postman Materials, the latter shall have precedence with respect to your access and use of that area of the Site or Content.

All notices made or given pursuant to these Site Terms must be in the English language. If we provide a translated version of these Site Terms, the English language version will control in the event of any conflict.
