The Opportunity
With Postman Flows, our vision is to transform how both developers and non-developers interact with software development through a beautiful visual canvas in a collaborative space. Our goal is for users to begin building software within minutes of signing up, enabling anyone to create software solutions, regardless of their previous coding experience. This opens up software development to a broader audience, making it as intuitive as using any daily productivity tool.
As we continue to refine Postman Flows with feedback from our community, we’re searching for a visionary, full-stack product designer to elevate our product. The core responsibilities for this role include conducting user interviews to deepen product understanding and user requirements, collaborating closely with users and the team to tailor user journeys, and addressing complex design challenges to craft a seamless, engaging product experience.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement research strategies to create personas and user journeys for a groundbreaking product. This includes foundational research to comprehend the landscape without our solution, and user testing to pinpoint enhancements.
- Design a novel product category with intricate information architecture needs.
- Collaborate intensively with product and engineering teams. Host design jams, and produce artifacts to foster team cohesion and clarity around design objectives.
- Partner with product and engineering to establish team roadmaps, and research agendas that effectively drive our ambitions.
- Regularly iterate with users to progressively refine the product.
About You:
- You love hard UX problems.
- 5+ years in end-to-end Product Design.
- You get obsessed with understanding complex user needs in order to create simple, intuitive user experiences.
- You have strong UX research and prototyping skills.
- Thrive in a scrappy environment, always eager to determine the simplest way to test the next feature. You don’t mind interrupts and can pull together quick demos when needed.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You’ll be working closely with our entire engineering team, synchronously and asynchronously.

What Else?
This role is based in the greater New York City area, and we are offering a base salary range of $161,500 $190,000 plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer comprehensive benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend. Salaries will vary outside of the listed metropolitan areas & the U.S.
