About The Team:

We’re looking for self-motivated team members who crave a challenge, are obsessed with moving/monitoring metrics that go up and to the right, and want to work on one of the most loved developer products in the world. This Principal PMM feels motivated by being a “do-er”. You thrive in a scrappy environment, have “been there, done that”, and are confident in your ability to build developer and PLG programs from scratch.

As a product and solutions marketer specializing in developer marketing and PLG motions, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives in our land and expand model, focusing on expansion. You will obsess over expanding development team usage of the Postman product and awareness of new use cases.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Onboard prospective customers with personalized paths, show them the value of the product quickly, and consistently bring awareness to the improvements we’re making/value we’re providing so they stick around (or come back) to purchase.

  • Drive expansion experiments to influence product growth

  • Build impactful messaging that communicates the value proposition of Postman, targeted at developers.

  • Influence product strategy based on customer feedback and market trends

  • Showcase the value and uniqueness of our company vision, strategy, and platform value proposition to developers across multiple channels

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies to support various developer engagement programs to drive quality product evaluations and product usage.

  • Track and analyze performance, and continuously optimize content based on feedback and market dynamics to maximize ROI and drive business growth.

  • Drive launch strategy in collaboration with product, including packaging and pricing.

You would be a great fit if you:

  • Experience launching a product from no code written to GA, to first $100 million

  • Experience in a land and expand GTM model

  • 6-8 years product marketing experience in a B2B SaaS

What Else?

This role is based in the greater San Francisco Bay area, and the reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $124,865 to $208,150, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend. Salaries will vary outside of the listed metropolitan areas & the U.S.
