Frequently asked questions
Startups that are institutionally funded, AI-native, founded after 2020, headquartered in the US or Canada, and new to Postman as paying customers. Postman decides eligibility at its discretion. One grant per company.
Your 25,000 AI Credits cover usage of Postman AI Agent Mode, Monitoring, Context Graph, Cloud Performance Testing, Flows, Fern, Astropods, and Postman Passport. They expire 3 months after activation. They don't cover seat fees and can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.
No. Credits are consumed by usage, not seats, so a small team can use all 25,000.
Usage-based features pause until you buy more credits. Additional usage is billed at current rates only if you opt in.
Unless you cancel before your program ends, your account automatically moves to the paid Team plan at list price for the seats in use at that time. We'll notify you when you've used 50% and 80% of your credits, and at least 14 days before the program ends. We may offer an early-commit discount before your program ends.
Extensions may be available at Postman's discretion and must be confirmed in writing. Talk to your Postman contact before your program ends.
Redemption is handled by our team: submit the form, we confirm eligibility, and approved startups sign a short agreement before we set up seats and credits.

Postman for Startups: Terms and Conditions
Offered by Postman, Inc. to eligible startups, as described on the program page. Postman decides eligibility and benefit amounts at its sole discretion. One grant per company. By applying and signing Postman's program agreement, an authorized representative accepts these terms for the company. Free seats and credits last 3 months from activation unless Postman extends them in writing. Credits apply only to eligible product usage, not to seat fees, existing invoices, or other commitments. When the program ends, your account automatically moves to the paid Team plan at then-current rates unless you cancel beforehand. Postman will notify you at least 14 days before, including how to cancel. Benefits are non-transferable, have no cash value, can't be combined with other offers, and end if your account is terminated. These terms supplement your company's agreement with Postman, including the product terms at https://www.postman.com/legal/. Your company's policies must permit acceptance. Postman may change or end the program without affecting activated benefits, and may revoke benefits for fraud, abuse, or inaccurate information. Void where prohibited.
