The Opportunity:

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing global compensation and benefits programs within Postman. This role involves conducting research, analyzing compensation data, and making recommendations to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards. You will play a crucial role in helping organizations attract and retain top talent while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with relevant regulations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of compensation data, including salary surveys, market trends, and internal pay structures to ensure competitive and equitable compensation.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to compensation and benefits programs to align with organizational goals and market conditions.
  • Perform job evaluations and market pricing to establish fair and consistent compensation levels for all positions.
  • Responsible for the Compensation and Benefits strategy of Postman
  • Develop and maintain compensation structures, including salary ranges, pay scales, and bonus structures.
  • Design and implement incentive programs, such as performance-based bonuses or stock options.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, including minimum wage laws and fair pay practices.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation and adapt compensation programs accordingly.
  • Participate in and conduct salary surveys to benchmark compensation against industry peers.
  • Use survey data to make recommendations for adjustments to compensation and benefits packages.
  • Generate reports and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with finance and People teams to create and manage the compensation budget.
  • Track and manage compensation-related expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.


About You

  • Years of experience: 6-8 years 
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Should have experience in managing compensation & benefits for both the US & India regions.
  • Proven experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, compensation survey databases).
  • Knowledge of compensation best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
